Visiting the Secret Garden in person is an adventure. You'll see new things every time you come in. Our 120-year-old building is packed full of beautiful, practical, and whimsical objects for your walls, your windows, your gardens, your kitchen, your children, and you, from glass ornaments to flying pigs; from colorful boiled wool jackets to hand-knit baby sweaters; from matted prints to one-of-a-kind oils, watercolors, pen and inks, and pastels.
Shopping online is a bit less fun—but more convenient. Here in our online store you will find a tiny selection of some of our favorite items. It was hard to know where to start, so we just picked a few things that have been popular. We are always adding to this list as we think of things we'd like to include, so check back often. (Unless otherwise noted, all items are handmade in the USA.)
Your credit card will be processed through PayPal's secure transaction
site. (The charge will appear on your monthly statement as "PayPal*Secret
Garden.") We ship either UPS or Priority Mail, whichever is cheaper
and/or more convenient. Michigan residents will be charged 6% sales tax.
If you have visited the store and remember something that you wish you had bought, give us a call or send us an email. It happens all the time. We'll figure out what you mean. Summer hours are 10 AM to 8 PM, Mon-Sat, 10-6 PM Sunday. Fall (Sept-Dec) hours are 10 AM to 5 PM daily. January-February hours are Fri-Sat, 10-5.
If you'd like to visit the store, we're open daily, May through December, and weekends in January and February. (See here for directions.) We're in the heart of Empire, across from the Friendly Tavern.
